Hello 2017!

Dear Wardrobe,

Last week was great! I celebrated Christmas on sunday with a huge family dinner and I’ve spent a fun week in Amsterdam again, with my love. I’ve also visited my ex-roommates in Utrecht again and celebrated NYE with my love in Amsterdam. So I’ve made a lot of good memories in the last weeks of 2016 🙂

Now it’s 2017 already. Can you believe it? This year has flown by. My mom always told me ‘When you get older, the days will get shorter’, and now I really feel that way too. I’m actually getting older, I guess…

Looking back at 2016 I can be very proud of what I’ve achieved so far. I graduated from University, I’ve become an (official) adult (21), I moved back to my mother last summer to save some money and to take a gap year to get some rest, I’ve started to put more effort in blogging and social media, I’ve got a cool new job and I’m still so in love with my boyfriend for more than 6 years already. That’s great, right? I think it’s a good thing to look back at your achievements once in a while. It can make you feel so much better and especially proud of yourself!

Ok, back to some complaining. The weather has been sooo unpredictable lately. It’s what I hate the most about Dutch winters. One week it was so warm for the time of the year and the other week it was so cold and windy. The good part about it is that I got the chance to wear my biker jacket from Supertrash. I love this jacket so much, but when it’s freezing outside it’s just too cold to wear.

Well, time to show you my last outfit of 2016, worn in Amsterdam 🙂 It’s my biker jacket (the one I just talked about), in combination with a basic jeans and burgundy turtleneck. I love to combine basics that are comfy and stylish at the same time. Really recommend it 😉

Let’s hope this year will bring health, luck and lot’s of good outfits!

Happy New Year!

Love,
Sharon
